While blueberry picking (one of my favorite things to do in Alaska), I thought about the many blessings (despite my constant protests) that God has given me during the last 16 years. That is what I want to remember, and I look forward to the blessings that tomorrow holds. ("Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go." Joshua 1:9)

Top of the World & 64 Years
Today, Dave took his folks to the Wind Farm
in Ferry. It was like being on top of the world. It was a perfectly
clear day. I think God sent the blue skies specially for Mom & Dad
as an anniversary present. Today, they celebrated 64 years of marriage.

That does not look like September. What a beautiful blue sky though!
ReplyDeleteIt was definitely September 24, 2013. But that is the kind of September we have been having. The snow is probably gone today since yesterday the temperature reached 45 and it rained.
