While blueberry picking (one of my favorite things to do in Alaska), I thought about the many blessings (despite my constant protests) that God has given me during the last 16 years. That is what I want to remember, and I look forward to the blessings that tomorrow holds. ("Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go." Joshua 1:9)

BRRRRRRR!!!
We awoke to 30 degrees at our house (26 degrees at Denali Visitor Center) and frost
on the lawn. Dave had to scrape ice off the windshield of his car.
In
our 16 years here, I have never seen frost in August. But my flowers are okay. I was concerned about the water in the camper, but everything seems to be working okay in there. After record breaking high temperatures this
Summer, I didn't expect record breaking low temperatures for Fall. (Here in Alaska, our Fall comes early)

You better pack faster - you're going to get snowed in and have to spend another winter in Alaska after all!
